Steve Hirsch
Founded by John P. Hirsch in 1890, Hirsch Fruit Farm has been offering the freshest, best tasting fruits available to Chillicothe and south central Ohio.

Currently the farm operates on 480 acres, 70 acres of which is in fruits and vegetables, another 50 in hay, 30-40 in pasture, 35 acres in pines and the balance in hardwood forests.

The elevation change on the farm from the creek bottoms to the highest point in the orchard is over 550 feet and the view from the orchard on a clear day is spectacular.

The farm operation includes tree fruit (apples, peaches, nectarines, pears and plums), small fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and grapes) as well as pumpkins, tomatoes and asparagus, two retail farm markets and an apple cider processing facility.

We have over 30 different varieties of fresh picked apples to choose from as well as our fresh, sweet apple cider.

We also offer pick your own pumpkins along with our gourds, Indian corn and mums for great fall decorating.

Our market also has apple butter, jams, honey, unique snacks, apple gift items, and much more.

We also offer gift basket and gift boxes from September through March.
